Description

We have developed a quantum theory for vortex dynamics and applied this theory to discuss quasiorder-disorder phase transitions and peak effects in type-II superconductors. The peak value of the critical current density, the exact peak position, and the corresponding half-width for type-II superconducting films and bulk materials have been calculated. The results are in good agreement with current experiments
