Air conditioning system for a reactor container
Description
Purpose: To improve the performance of the air conditioning system and the reliability of the container by injecting or sucking airs through the entire circumference of the reactor container and by reducing the pipeway penetrating portions. Constitution: Air or nitrogen gas feed lines and discharge lines are connected to the cooling mode of the reactor container in the after-heat removal system. Specifically, upon access to the inside of the container for maintenance and checking, airs are supplied into the container. Before the start-up of the plant, the container is sucked out with the air and filled with nitrogen. Upon start-up of the plant, the inside of the container is vented for preventing the increase in the inner pressure of the container due to heat expansion and the sucked gases are discharged to the atmosphere by way of the discharge lines.
