Power distribution and hot channel factor used in Angra 1 (W) and Angra 2,3 (KWU)
Description
In this report, the definition of hot channel factors and sub-factors used to quantify and qualify the nuclear power distribution and the thermal hydraulic performance of the core for KWU reactor (Angra 2 and 3) and Westinghouse (Angra 1), are presented. Some observations and comparisons are made in relation to the more important differences between criteria and models used in the determination of thermal hydraulic parameters. (author0

Neste relatorio estao resumidas as definicoes dos Fatores e Subfatores de Canal Quente usados para quantificar e qualificar a distribuicao de potencia nuclear e o desempenho termohidraulico no nucleo para os reatores da KWU (Angra 2 e 3) e Westinghouse (Angra 1). A primeira parte relata as definicoes da KWU, e a segunda as definicoes da Westinghouse, com a mesma terminologia dos documentos e com algumas observacoes. Tambem sao apresentadas sucintamente as instrumentacoes internas e externas usadas para inferir e monitorar os Fatores de Canal Quente durante operacao do reator. Por fim, sao feitas observacoes e comparacoes em relacao as diferencas mais importantes nos criterios e modelos usados na determinacao dos parametros termohidraulicos. (autor)Files
