Injection device (injector) for an injection evaporator
Description
The injection head for the parallel-jet spray evaporator serves for producing saturated steam by mixing superheated steam with water. It can be applied for a steam-cooled reactor as well as for a breeder reactor. A controllable, highly dispersed atomization can be achieved with it. For this, the injection head essentially consists of a plate with circular rings into which nozzles for water and superheated steam are fitted. The circular rings have a triangular cross-section. On their sides the nozzles are mounted in such a way that one row of nozzles for superheated steam is always opposite to one row of water nozzles. The jets emerging from them intersect at an angle of 900. (DG)

Der Einspritzkopf fuer den Prallstrahleinspritzverdampfer dient zur Erzeugung von Sattdampf durch Mischung von ueberhitztem Dampf und Wasser. Er ist sowohl bei einem dampfgekuehlten Reaktor als auch einem Brutreaktor einsetzbar. Mit ihm kann eine kontrollierbare, feine Zerstaeubung verwirklicht werden. Hierzu besteht der Einspritzkopf im wesentlichen aus einer Platte mit Kreisringen, in die Wasser- und Heissdampfduesen eingefuegt sind. Die Kreisringe weisen einen dreieckigen Querschnitt auf. An ihren Flanken sind die Duesen derart angebracht, dass jeweils eine Reihe von Heissdampfduesen einer Reihe von Wasserduesen gegenuebersteht. Die aus ihnen heraustretenden Strahlen kreuzen sich unter einem Winkel von 900. (DG)Files
