Description
The structure of a new kind of RPC (Resistive Plate Chamber), which is suitable for deep underground research, is described. The importance of impedance is underlined by the example of coaxial cable. The impedance of readout strip has also been measured, and the result is matched with the calculated result by an empirical formula. This also indicated that the way to measure the impedance is feasible. (authors)
