Description
The German Radiation Protection Law is characterized by the dualism of a Radiation Protection Ordinance and an X-ray Ordinance. The development of these radiation protection regulations, recommendations, directives, standards and instructions as well as legislation after all, orients itself on the one hand along the advancing knowledge of radiation damage, but on the other hand along the type and extent of the population groups exposed. Up to now an extensive basic ordinance for all subsections has not yet been developed. (DG)

Das deutsche Strahlenschutzrecht ist gekennzeichnet durch den Dualismus einer StrlSchV und einer RoeV. Die Entwicklung dieser Strahlenschutzregeln, der Empfehlungen, Richtlinien, Normen und Vorschriften sowie schliesslich der Gesetzgebung orientiert sich einerseits an der fortschreitenden Kenntnis ueber Strahlenschaeden, andererseits aber auch an Art und Umfang der exponierten Bevoelkerungsgruppen. Zu einer umfassenden Rahmenverordnung fuer alle Teilgebiete ist es bisher noch nicht gekommen. (DG)Additional details
