On interaction of vanadium of different oxidation degree with benzohydroxamic acid
- 1. Leningradskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR)
Description
The interaction between vanadium (3), (4) and (5), and benzohydroxamic acid has been studied by the amperometric titration. The composition of complex compounds has been determinated for each vanadium oxidation degree, and nonstability constants have been calculated, V(3) and V(4) have been shown to form compounds of the 1:1 composition with nonstability constants of 10-10 and 10-8 respectively. For V(5), two compounds of a composition of 1:1 and 1:2 have been found with nonstability constants of an order of 10-9 and 10-15
