How does an electrified drop disintegrate?

Description
The question of the stability of a charged drop opens a field of research extremely rich. The behaviour of a droplet is similar to this one of an atomic nucleus. New experiments on disintegration of a particular type of droplets, the metallic aggregates show the limits. (N.C.)
