Improved radial ion distribution method for the measurement of the transverse diffusion coefficient Dsub(T)

Description

Attempts at increasing the accuracy of a previously described apparatus are outlined and several factors affecting accuracy are discussed. It is concluded that with these improvements the Dsup(T)/K ratios as a function of reduced field strengths will be determined to +-6%. (G.Q.)
