In this paper properties of cosmic masers are discussed, in particular of OH- and H2O-sources. The discussion is mainly restricted to theoretical considerations, in particular to the aspects of radiative transfer. Differences and similarities between masers and other (NLTE) sources of line emission having no population inversion, are discussed. (orig./BJ)

In dieser Arbeit werden die Eigenschaften von kosmischen Masern - vor allem von OH- und H2O-Quellen - diskutiert. Die Diskussion beschraenkt sich vorwiegend auf theoretische Betrachtungen und hier vor allem auf Aspekte des Strahlungstransfers. Unterschiede und Aehnlichkeiten zwischen Masern und anderen (NLTE) Linienemissionsquellen ohne Populationsinversion werden diskutiert. (orig./AK)
