Description
The present paper describes a method of determining the total number of neutrons generated in an extended lead target by relativistic nuclei and protons. It is shown that 101±20 neutrons per proton are produced in the target with the volume of 50 x 50 x 80 cm3 at 3.65 GeV energy of protons. (orig.)
