Study of prediction of migration of radiocesium and radiostrontium in soil for environmental control around shallow radioactive waste disposal site
Description
Distribution coefficients, migration velocity and dispersion coefficients for radiocesium and radiostrontium in soil were determined in laboratory while simulating some field conditions. The experimental and predicted data of breakthrough of Cs-134, Sr-85 e Sr-89 using I-131 + 0.01 NKI to describe the hydrodynamic dispersion were in good agreement. Data of variation of dispersion coefficient with various carrier concentration of Cs and Sr are presented. (Author)

Foram determinados os coeficientes de distribuicao, velocidade de migracao e coeficientes de dispersao do cesio e estroncio no solo, simulando algumas condicoes de campo. Os dados experimentais e previstos da ruptura do Cs - 134, Sr-85 and Sr-89 enquanto se usa I-131 + 0.001 N KI para descrever a dispersao hidrodinamica estao de acordo.
