Lanthanide(III) iodide complexes of 5,6-benzoquinoline and 2-ethoxycarbonylaminopyridine
Description
It is apparent that the ability of lanthanide ions to coordinate with neutral N-donors could best be evaluated in non-aqueous media, and a number of cationic or neutral complexes containing N-donor ligands have been isolated utilising non-aqueous media. In view of this, the coordinating ability of lanthanide(III) iodides with 5,6-benzoquinoline (Benzqn) and 2-ethoxycarbonyl-aminopyridine (ECAP) is reported. (author). 3 tables, 14 refs
