Description

The aim of this conference was to integrate the current relevant research into the geochemistry of Archaean rocks. Concepts dealt with include geotectonics and crustal composition, geochronology, the greenstone-schist belts, granulites, volcanics and sediments, anorthosites and ultramafics and mineralisation. Due to recent technological advances, equipment is now available which allows rapid determination of radiometric age dates, and rock, mineral and REE analyses. (C.F.)
