Spheroidal basis of the four-dimensional isotropic oscillator

Description

Four-dimensional spheroidal coordinates are introduced. Complete set of spheroidal wave functions of a four-dimensional isotropic oscillator generalizing a spheroidal basis of a hydrogen atom is studied. The integral of motion specific for the spheroidal analysis is derived and by means of this integral the algebraization of the problem in question is carried out. the iteration method is proposed for calculating spheroidal corrections to the noncanonic and double-polar basis of the four-dimensional isotropic oscillator
