Description
There is a rare and clear consensus among experimentalists that jets and hard-scattering phenomena in Relativistic Heavy Ion (RHI) collisions can best (if not only) be studied using leading particles, in the same way that these phenomena were originally discovered and mapped out in p - p collisions
