Excitation function of e astic scattering of protons on 24Mg and 28Si at energy range 14-16 MeV

Description
Investigated is the energy dependence of the differential cross section of elastic scattering (ES) of protons with the 14-16 MeV energy on 24Mg and 28Si nuclei in the back semisphere at the angular values of 100, 129 and 157 deg C. The reaction products were recorded with the help of nuclear photoemulsion. The proton ES excitation function on 24Mg and 28Si in the investigated energy range has a resonance-like structure. The breadth of the structure is 150 - 200 keV, it reffers to intermediate structures according to its size. Ericson type fluctuations are expressed weakly
