The pH of the chloride solution in the cracks during metal corrosion
Description
The pH of the solution during slotted corrosion cracking of armcoiron and 12Kh18N10T steel in 3% NaCl solution, in solutions containing HCl and NaOH. It is obtained that self-catalytist corrosion conditions take place in the slot and in the crack at the expense of hydrogen depolarization
