Description
The possible dynamics occurring in pp collisions at different energy within the CERN ISR energy range is investigated using the quark statistical model. It is found that probably only direct collisions occur for square root s below 8 GeV. The fragmentation process begins to develop above 8 GeV. This process has a linear dependence of square root s from about 20 GeV and reaches saturation at about 100 GeV. The study also revealed some interesting results when large P/sub T/ data are investigated using the model
