Strain resistance of structural alloys under action of electric current pulse and cryogenic temperatures
- 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kiev. Inst. Problem Prochnosti
Description
Variation of strain resistance is considered for 12Kh18N10T and 03Kh13AG19 steels under the action of electric current pulses and within the temperature range 293...4.2 K. It is established that the variation in question is associated with the strain hardening characteristics of the steels in initial state. It is shown how the preliminary strain affects the values of a stress jump at the moment when electric current pulse passes through the specimen
