Search for a neutral boson in a two-body decay of K+→π+X0
- 1. Department of Physics and Meson Science Laboratory, Faculty of Science, University of Tokyo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo 113, Japan
Description
The momentum spectrum of the π+ in stopping K+ decays was measured by use of a high-resolution magnetic spectrometer to search for a discrete peak due to a neutral boson X0 in a two-body decay K+→π+X0. An upper bound of the branching ratio R(K+→π+X0) is presented for the mass range of X0 from 10 to 300 MeV/c2
