Description
59Co and 139La NMR measurements were performed to study the spin state of the trivalent cobalt ion in LaCoO3 which exhibits the low-spin (1A1g) to high-spin (5T2g) transition. It is pointed out that the supertransferred mechanism plays an important role in the magnetic hyperfine interaction of the high-spin state. ((orig.))
