Estimation of a surface contamination of a territory during the greatest accident at the cover object

  • 1. Institut Biofiziki, Moscow (Russian Federation)

Description

A calculation was made on discharges during the greatest design accident at the cover object (the roofing tell in the moment) with the use of a model; based on numerical solution of a stationary two-dimensional equation of a passive impurity diffusion in the atmosphere. A conclusion was made, that a main part of radioactivity remained within a former sanitary-protective zone near the Chernobyl' NPP and the change for the worse was not expected. 7 refs.; 3 figs
