Description

Cracks caused by hydrogen were found in the affected zone of welded joints on PWR reactor pressure vessels under the stainless steel coating. Fatigue tests were carried ont to get a large number of data on the possibility of propagation of this type of defects and for the estimation of safety analysis

Des fissures par l'hydrogene ont ete decourvertes dans la zone thermiquement affectee de piquages de cuves de reacteurs a eau pressurisee, sous le revetement en acier inoxydable. Des essais de fatigue ont ete entrepris pour rassembler une grande quantite de donnees sur la possibilite de propagation de ce type de defauts et estimer les marges utilisees dans l'analyse a la securite
