Description
Maoming oil shale mine in Guangdong province is introduced. Oil shale in mining area is measured by gamma spectrometry. Combining the measured results with the geological features, the results are analyzed and interpreted. The radioactive differences between the mining area of oil shale and wall rock are investigated. The relevant techniques for radiological survey of oil shale are discussed, and suggestions are given. (authors)
