Description
The contribution from double-reggeon diagrams to the cross sections of π-p → ψπn and π-p → ηη'n, π-p → ηηn processes is investigated in view of evidences of resonance maxima in the ψπ0 and ηη' systems near the thresholds. It is shown that the two-reggeon mechanism is responsible for near-threshold maxima which have a considerable width, Γ > or approx. 400 MeV. The role of the above mentioned effects in separation of near-threshold resonances and determination of thier properties is discussed
