Inelastic processes in slow collisions between ion and atom and antiproton and atom

Description

The subject of this thesis is the structure of hidden crossings and nonadiabatic transitions between different states of two-Coulomb center problem Z1eZ2 in cases (Z2 >> Z1) and (Z2 > 0, Z1 < 0) as well as capture of slow antiprotons in noble gas atoms within the framework of advanced adiabatic approach. In both cases one can acknowledge cardinal change of surface Re E(R) for complex values of distance R between two centers with respect of standard charges. The application of the advanced adiabatic approach model [Briggs 1999] for capture of slow antiprotons in noble gas atoms, via effective charges confirms the absence of metastable states in atomcules Kr+p and Xep.
