Features of charged particles acceleration in a standing laser wave field

Description
We consider features of interaction of charged particles with a standing laser wave field. Conditions under which they can be optimally accelerated are found. It is shown that by using ultrahigh-Q optical resonators the energy gain can reach a few GeV
