A classical lump in SU(2) gauge theory with a Higgs doublet
Description
The existence of a time-independent regular finite-energy solution to SU(2) Yang-Mills-Higgs theory with a Higgs doublet is proved. It is shown that this solution, whose existence and correspondence to a nuclear state was recently conjectured, is unstable. (orig.)
