Unidentified IRAS sources: Pt. 1
Creators
- 1. University Coll., London (UK). Dept. of Physics and Astronomy
Description
We present spectra of two IRAS sources which were previously unidentified, which show then to be extreme carbon stars, closely analogous to the prototypical source IRC + 10216. Estimates are made of the mass-loss rates of the two sources in terms of their distances. (author)
