A new theory of the magnetic monopole with an overview of its effects
Description
This article describes a new theory, jointly developed by the author and the team of L. Urutskoiev from the Kurtchatov institute (Moscow, Russia), which foresees the existence of light magnetic monopole (a 'lepton') which can be compared to a magnetic equivalent of the electron but which obeys to different symmetry laws. This theory is based on experimental data and on the Curie symmetry laws which are automatically deduced from the mathematical formalism of the theory. The monopole described in this article is a magnetically excited neutrino. It has both electromagnetic interactions and weak nuclear interactions. These monopoles are transported by a 'strange radiation' which creates an induced magnetism of limited duration. They also have distant effects, both chemical (inflammation of ammonium nitrate at several meters of distance) and biological (diminution of the genotoxic effect of nuclear radiations). The first experiments indicate that a flux of monopoles can reduce the lifetime of beta radioactive elements. (J.S.)
