Cerium-neodymium-silicon system

Description
The ternary Ce-Nd-Si system is studied in the full concentration interval at 600 deg C by the method of X-ray phase analysis. Ternary compounds are absent. Continuous series of (Ce,Nd)5Si3, (CeNd)5Si4, (Ce,Nd)Si2 solid solutions, and limited solid solutions on the base of Ce3Si2 and Nd2Si3 binary compounds form in the system
