Description
The investigation on the powder metallurgy process of the porous W-Ni-Fe prepared by prealloyed agglomerates has been made. The agglomerates consisting of fine tungsten powder containing 1-2 wt% Ni-Fe were fabricated by compacting, presintering, crushing, screening and strengthening sintering. The W-Ni-Fe prealloyed agglomerates mixed with 2 wt% stearic acid or 0,4 wt% polyvinyl alcohol were pressed, presintered and sintering to form the porous W-Ni-Fe specimens. The influences of temperatures of strengthening sintering agglomerate size, compacting pressure, sintering temperature and detension time on properties of the porous W-Ni-Fe material were also investigated. It is shown in heat shock that the porous W-Ni-Fe material with 130,7 μm in maximum pore size, 1,78x10-2L/min.cm2.mmH2O in relative permeability coefficient, 26,4 vol% in open pore porosity and 141,3 MPa in bending strength can be used for cleaning the burned gas with 11,8 MPa in pressure at 15230K with satisfactory results. 12 refs., 4 figs., 2 tabs.
