Gauge hierarchy generation and cosmology in locally supersymmetric GUTs

  • 1. European Organization for Nuclear Research, Geneva (Switzerland)
  • 2. Ioannina Univ. (Greece)

Description

We discuss a locally supersymmetric GUT with no unnaturally small couplings and just two input mass scales: Mpapprox.=1019 GeV and μapprox.=1011 GeV. We get out both the weak scale Msub(W)approx.=μ2/Msub(P) and the GUT scale Msub(X)approx.=(μMsub(P))sup(1/2). The model produces an acceptable cosmological scenario similar to the one we have previously discussed for globally supersymmetric GUTs. (orig.)
