Theoretical study on electron impact excitation of Zn-like Au49+ ions
- 1. Department of Physics, College of Science, Shihezi University, Shihezi (China)
Description
The electron impact excitation (EIE) collision strengths of Zn-like Au49+ ion of 4s, 3d, 3p and 3s to all of 4 ι (ι = p, d, f) and 5 ι (ι = s, p, d, f) states are calculated systematically by using the fully relativistic distorted-wave (RDW) program. The collision strengths versus different energies of incident electron are studied. The rate coefficients connected with gold laser plasma M-band spectrum about the 3d → 4f and 3d → 5f transitions of Zn-like Au49+ ion are also computed systematically. The rate coefficients versus different electron temperatures are highlighted. Also, comparisons of the present calculations with the available experimental results are made. (authors)
