Topological charges in field theories with broken symmetry
Description
An effective method of constructing expressions for topological charges of Higgs fields corresponding to the second homotopy group is suggested. The expressions are of the form of the integrals over differential forms defined with the help of characteristic classes of a bundle over the vacuum manifold provided the symmetry group is compact and semisimple
