Description

The development of plasma filament under the influence of electromagnetic wave forces and neutral particle beam used for plasma heating is considered. It is shown that if time periods of plasma heating are less than its energetic lifetime, and wave phase velocity in the direction transverse to a magnetic field or neutral particle beam velocity prove to be greater than ion thermal velocity, then plasma rotation velocity, gained during heating, turns out to be less than ion thermal velocity. Radial velocity of plasma motion in a number of cases turns out to be less than particle drift velocity under the above applied forces. The estimation shows what wave and particle beam parameters are to be chosen in oder to keep this velocity in permissible limits
