Thermodynamic study of alloys of terbium with palladium
- 1. M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University
Description
An integral variant of the Knudsen effusion method is used under conditions of an ultrahigh ''oil-free'' vacuum to measure the vapor pressures of terbium and palladium above Tb-Pd alloys in the concentration range 29--81 at. % Pd. A differential thermal analysis of the test specimens was made at the same time. A section of the constitution diagram of the Tb-Pb system was constructed. The temperature dependences of the vapor pressures and partial thermodynamic functions of the components were calculated along with integral thermodynamic functions of intermediate phases of the Tb-Pb system
