Ultrasound propagation in the heavy-fermion superconductors URu2Si2 and CeCu2Si2

Description
The tetragonal heavy-fermion systems URu2Si2 and CeCu2Si2 are both well-established superconductors. We describe the elastic anomalies of URu2Si2 and CeCu2Si2 in the normal and superconducting states with the Grueneisen parameter coupling. In particular, the temperature dependence of the c11-mode of URu2Si2 is interpreted as an isothermal-adiabatic crossover. In CeCu2Si2 we analyse our data in the light of a complex B-T phase diagram.
