Dimensions and shape of interaction range between heavy quarks at finite temperatures
Description
In the work suggested quark confinement is simulated by relativistic string in D=d+2-dimensional space with fixed ends. In the framework of the model the problem on dimensions and shape of spatial region occupied by the string at the temperature 1/β (of the region in which the string points move) is investigated. It is shown that at low temperatures, great distances the interaction region has the shape of a tube similar to chromoelectric one. At high temperatures, small distances root mean square radius of transverse cross section of the interaction region increases rapidly, i.e. the picture is similar to the one taking place in electrodynamics
