Energy distribution of secondaries in proton-nucleus collisions at very high energies
Description
Within the one dimensional hydrodynamical model a large asymmetry of energies of secondaries between the forward and backward regions is predicted. This asymmetry which should be accessible to calorimetric measurements is strongly dependent on the value of the velocity of sound. Experimental data on rapidity distributions can be accounted for by the model. (Auth.)
