Nuclear level densities of 56Co, 57Co, 90Nb and 94Nb from neutron evaporation spectra in (p,n) reaction

Description

Excitation functions, neutron spectra and angular distributions in (p,n) reaction on isotopes of 56Fe, 57Fe, 90Zr and 94Zr have been measured in proton energy range of (7-11) MeV. The measurements were performed on the pulsed tandem accelerator EGP-15 of the IPPE by a time-of-flight fast neutron spectrometer. Analyses of the measured data have been carried out in the framework of statistical equilibrium and pre-equilibrium models of nuclear reactions. The contribution of non-equilibrium emission has been studied. The nuclear level densities of 56Co, 57Co, 90Nb, 94Nb and their energy dependences have been determined
