Upgrade and characteristics analysis of neutron turbine in KUR

Description
An ultracold neutron (UCN) facility was installed in KUR. The supermirror neutron turbine was upgraded by changing the reflecting blades from the three mirrors sets to the five mirrors sets. It enhances the UCN flux by a factor of about 3. The computer simulation of the neutron deceleration in the blade system shows the characteristics of the supermirror turbine. It is shown that the change of neutron trajectories in the blades by the centrifugal and Coriolis' forces affects the deceleration efficiency of the neutron turbine. (author)
