Computer-aided, X-ray, and single-photon emission tomography in patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy
Description
The authors present clinical material on the cerebral structures and homodynamics in patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy. Brain anatomy was studied with the transmission computer tomographer. Cerebral circulation was studied with the Picker multidetector single-photon emission tomographer after administration of 99mTc-hexamethylpropylene amyloxine. Both the methods were found good for the evaluation of brain structures and perfusion, giving rich information for radiologists and neurologists, permitting them choose adequate treatment policy
