A recent research on the method of extracting the valley point from light signals of nuclear explosion for determination of the yield
Description
On the basis of practical digitized data samples acquired from light pulse signals of nuclear explosions, method of extracting valley point have been studied comparatively deeply. According to the result of frequency spectral analysis, some suitable linear digital-filters have been designed. Taking signals with different signal-noise-radio as data samples, we have conducted simulation tests for the filters' anti-noise performance. Statistical analysis and inference show that the uncertainty of observation has been significantly reduced after digital filtering, and that the probability of determining correctly the yield coefficient has been significantly increased too. By means of simulation tests, the appointed-specially-coefficient have been summed up, which are to be used in the extraction of the valley point from light pulse signals with 'platform', and the corresponding relative error is within the range of +-7%. Finally a relatively reasonable and comprehensive program for extracting the valley point has been drawn up
