On the other properties of quadruple melted Zr-2.5Nb pressure tubes
Description
Pressure tubes made from quadruple melted ingots have been shown to have excellent fracture toughness properties, but their other properties are also important. This paper summarizes comparisons carried out on the other (in- and out-reactor) properties of pressure tubes made from quadruple and double melted ingots. It shows that there is no difference in the other properties than can be attributed to the number of times the ingot was melted. (author)
