Description

A design and installation of control system for prototype containers monitoring with gamma ray absorption technique has been conducted. The purpose of this research is the design and installation of an inverter control system and a mechanical conveyor system with a speed that was varied to obtain optimal image object. PID control system using the integration of the inverter to drive the conveyor through the frequency setting range 0 to 60 Hz. Early results which have been tested to control with the lowest speed until the maximum speed in a row for : 0.0016 m/sec up to 6.06 m/sec respectively, on the operation of 1 Hz to 60 Hz, match with the needs of the data frame capture speed of gamma camera detector.
