Aseptic hip bone necrosis and hyperuridaemia
Description
2 case studies on patients with hyperuricaemia and hip head necrosis due to X-ray pictures are introduced. In both cases, hyperuricaemia had to be considered mainly as an aethiological factor. A woman had complaints which, due to their course and characteristics, could be classified as a somewhat untypical gout while the symptoms of a young man which led him to an X-ray examination could only be explained as being due to head necrosis and pain attacks which could have been named podagra or chirarga did not exist. In both cases, the hyperuricaemia was reduced to normal values by means of medicaments thus the necrosis not progressing any longer. (orig./AJ)

Es werden 2 Fehlstudien mit Hyperuricaemie und Hueftkopfnekrose aufgrund von Roentgenaufnahmen vorgestellt. In beiden Faellen musste die Hyperuricaemie vordergruendig als aetiologischer Faktor angesehen werden. Eine Frau hatte Beschwerden, die nach Verlauf und Charakteristik als etwas atypische Gicht eingeordnet werden konnte, waehrend bei einem jungen Mann die Symptomatik, die ihn zur Roentgenuntersuchung fuehrte, allein durch die Oberschenkelkopfnekrose zu erklaeren war und Schmerzattacken, die als Podagra oder Chirarga haetten angesprochen werden koennen, nicht bestanden. In beiden Faellen wurde die Hyperuricaemie medikamentoes auf Normalwerte gesenkt und die Oberschenkelkopfnekrose schritt von diesem Zeitpunkt an nicht mehr fort. (orig./AJ)
