Description

The essential multielement analysis was carried out in nano and microscale surface morphology of useful selected species of Moraceae family medicinal plants such as Ficus Racemose Linn using "field emission scanning electron microscope" and "energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy" (FESEMEDS). To understand the elemental analysis of medicinal plants used in the Dharwad and Gadag districts of the Northeast Karnataka region. In the present investigation, the Moraceae family's medicinal plants were selected. The analysis of the samples was thorough nano-micro photograph obtained using FESEM and specific weight percent of elemental concentration analysed by EDX. The elemental concentrations such as Mg, Al, Si, S, Cl, K, Ca, Mn, Fe, Cu, and Zn were estimated in all the collected medicinal plants and found to be within the World Health Organization's (WHO's) recommended values. FESEM morphology indicates that fine plane irregularly shaped particles, with size and an average diameter of 20-50 μm, are found in this plant. The present investigation suggests that the collected medicinal plant have good alignments of metabolites, and intake of trace elements, which are useful for the treatment and preparation of new Ayurvedic, herbal, and pharmaceutical drugs for different diseases.
