Telescopic tube guidance

Description

The proposal concerns a telescopic tube guidance for at least two telescopic tubes, lying one within the other, under bending stress, especially for manipulators of heavy loads such as barrels with radioactive content. In order to be well able to manipulate the barrels, it is proposed to provide the telescopic tubes with a rectangular cross-section, to mount guide rails, and to arrange dashpots at right angle. At the inner sides of the exterior tubes, rolls are provided for the transmission of the main bending forces to the guidance in one direction, as well as friction facings at right angle to these. Abstract (German)

Der Vorschlag betrifft eine Teleskoprohrfuehrung fuer mindestens zwei ineinanderliegende Teleskoprohre unter Biegebeanspruchung, insbesondere fuer Manipulatoren schwerer Lasten, wie z.B. Faesser mit radioaktivem Inhalt. Um Faesser gut manipulieren zu koennen, wird vorgeschlagen, den Teleskoprohren rechteckigen Querschnitt zu geben, Fuehrungsschienen anzubringen und senkrecht dazu Bremszylinder anzuordnen. An den Innenseiten des jeweils aeusseren Rohres sind Rollen vorgesehen zur Uebertragung der Hauptbiegekraft auf die Fuehrung zu der einen Richtung, sowie im rechten Winkel dazu Reibbelaege. Die konstruktive Ausgestaltung ist im einzelnen beschrieben. (UWI)
